Historia
Using his flesh-twisting powers, Seraph must push on to reach the ancient guardians. After nearly losing access, Seraph sets out again to conquer NEO and save his tormented sibling. Pushing deeper into the woodland, the Heart of The Forest is finally within reach, but the overpowered druidic guardians are merely the most obvious obstacle in his path.

a really fun sequel overall; the front-half was a bit boring, while the back-half was an action pack wildride. Honestly though, the last hour is where the story really shined, it sets up the following books beautifully and makes me excited for what comes next.

best in the series!
Revisado: 05-25-22
almost perfect continuation of a great story. Loved it and can't wait for more! Almost non-stop adventure and growth while tieing up a lot of plot-ends that needed to wrap up while sprinkling in a few new ones.
Narrator was again great, and really delivers on their portrayal of the characters.

Historia
Dominic Hart was screwed. Diagnosed with terminal cancer, no money for treatment, and an athletic scholarship hanging by a thread...he didn't have many options. But the university clinic had offered him a free video game. Some sort of "therapy", they said. A way to while away the hours until he kicked the bucket. Yay. What Dom wasn't expecting was to get swindled by a surly casino owner right out of the gate. Or get dropped in a backwater hellhole voted the “number one worst starting location in Awaken Online".

Historia
From the towering heights of Olympos Mons on Mars, the mighty Zeus and his immortal family of gods, goddesses, and demigods look down upon a momentous battle, observing - and often influencing - the legendary exploits of Paris, Achilles, Hector, Odysseus, and the clashing armies of Greece and Troy. Thomas Hockenberry, former 21st-century professor and Iliad scholar, watches as well. It is Hockenberry's duty to observe and report on the Trojan War's progress to the so-called deities who saw fit to return him from the dead.

Wonderful scifi take on the Trojan war plus others
Revisado: 01-15-21
Although it is a rather slow burn at the start, dan Simmons delivers a masterpiece.

Peacetime can be a rough adjustment for the battle-hardened Merry Band of Pirates.
Especially when aliens don’t get the memo that the shooting is over.

This series keeps ramping up the Awesome-ness
Revisado: 01-06-21
While this series may have started out on the so-so side, it has steadily gotten, to quote Skippy, "more awesome." I cannot wait for the next installment of the Merry Band of Pirates!

Historia
Days ago, Belisarius pulled off the most audacious con job in history. He's rich, he's back with the love of his life, and best of all, he has the Time Gates, arguably the most valuable things in existence. Nothing could spoil this...except the utter destruction of his people and the world they lived on. To save them, he has to make a new deal with the boss he just double-crossed, to travel back in time and work his quantum magic once again, tracking down the source of the wormholes.

great story, fun continuation of the first
Revisado: 10-17-19
I love the world building setup by the first and followed through with this one.
My only complaint is in the editing of the reading, you can hear some page turning and gulping from the narrator which was sorta distracting, but his voices are still top notch.
