Historia
It turns out giving up your "right" to be offended can be one of the most freeing, healthy, simplifying, relaxing, refreshing, stress-relieving, encouraging things you can do. It's a radical, provocative idea: We're not entitled to get offended or stay angry. The idea of our own "righteous anger" is a myth. It is the number one problem in our societies today and, as Dallas Willard says, Christians have not been taught out of it. But what if Christians were the most unoffendable people on the planet?

Relevant, cheeky & convicting
Revisado: 03-23-25
This book is powerful. I was hooked with the cheeky humor with the depth of the subject. The radio voice of the author made it very easy to listen to and his cadence spot on. Definitely recommend, especially in turbulent times

Genuine, transparent, helpful, beautiful
Revisado: 03-14-25
Powerful book, if you listen, listen through the tender acknowledgements, which endeared me even more to the humility of the author. The book itself is motivational and revealing.

Historia
We live in a time when our culture is becoming increasingly shallow, coarse, and empty. Radical shifts in the areas of sexuality, ethics, technology, secular ideologies, and religion have caused the once-familiar landscape of a generation ago to be virtually unrecognizable. Yet rather than shine as a beacon of light, the church often is silent or accommodating. This isn’t a new phenomenon. During World War II, pastor and theologian Dietrich Bonhoeffer was deeply troubled by the compromise in the German church.

Deep and wide!
Revisado: 04-05-21
Only wish is that it would have been read by the author! Especially since he’s Australian, was a bit of a disappointment to miss that! But great material, deep, wide and challenging
