Historia
Barbara O’Neal’s novel of food, friendship, and the freedom to grow your dreams brings together four very different women longing to savor the true taste of happiness. Popular blogger and foodie queen Lavender Wills reigns over Lavender Honey Farms, a serene slice of organic heaven nestled in Oregon wine country. Lavender is determined to keep her legacy from falling into the profit-driven hands of uncaring relatives, and she wants an heir to sustain her life’s work after she’s gone.

This story follows the journey of four women at a crossroads in their individual lives. This lovely story is woven together with compassion, humor, and surprising poignancy. I loved it from beginning to end.

nice but slow pace.
Revisado: 08-30-23
I struggle to finish this. Diana and Nadia are nice enough, but the structure of the story is choppy and both characters come across as a bit cliched. That said, I did find the idea of the story, identical twins separated at birth, one leading a privileged life, ine leading a tough life, compelling.

maybe a perfect read for an Evangelical reader.

if you like a reed that's very preachy with an intrusive God to save you, this may be for you. too many events are set into place because the heroin overhears stuff. she is passive, waiting for God to save her at every turn.
