The second chapter in the life of Anne Shirley. This book follows Anne from the age of 16 to 18, during the two years that she teaches at Avonlea school. It includes many of the characters from Anne of Green Gables, as well as new ones like Mr. Harrison, Miss Lavendar Lewis, Paul Irving, and the twins Dora and Davy.

Just so dreamy

This is my first time reading the Anne of Green Gables series. The story is beautiful, and the writing of Lucy Maud Montgomery is just magical. Mary Sarah reads this perfectly. I listened to it at .95 speed and it increased the lovely feel of such dreamy writing. Mary Sarah is by far the best narrator of any of the books in the series (my son just finished all 8 books), and I wish she narrated the entire thing.

Family storytelling at its most hilarious, the Maynard Moose tales of Willy Claflin entertain all ages. An excellent choice for family car trips, these whimsical retellings excite young imaginations and delight young and old with their creative use of language.

Willy Claflin is fantastic!

Willy Claflin is a fantastic narrator and author! Our family loves his books. The little moose who could not go to sleep is one of our favorites of his, and the reason we got this audio book. Really silly and funny. A couple of the stories have a wide range in volume, so if you don't change the volume while listening, the quiet parts will be too quiet, or the loud parts too loud. I wish the author would do another audio book with more of his books.
