I never knew a book could mean so much. This book is beyond words, as my emotions grew louder each minute that went by. The story is so great, it has such a tenderness to people, nature, family. I enjoyed every minute of it and for sure will listen to it again.

A hot chick walks into the Supernatural realm.

This is a book not for the faint of heart, it has happy as well as sad moments, mystery, gore, lust, sweetness and sex. It is very vivid with great detail to things, it creates great imagination and it’s great to read or listen, the narrator does an excellent job jumping from character to character, her voice it’s nice to listen to and she makes a good job on male voices as well. My favorite voices are: Ethan, Astrid, The Kev, Pam, Grandpa, Paris, Dixie.
I understand this book is based on the supernatural but this a book along with Fashionably Dead Down Under - book 2 have some elements and patterns that make you think of people with Borderline Personality Disorder, Psychoses not in a good supportive way unless you are talking about the abusive Narcissist brother of Satan.

Astrid a young woman who is a yoga teacher for seniors, who’s had a problem with an ex boyfriend and is trying to eliminate a nasty habit wakes up not being able to breathe or have a reflection on her mirror. She turned into a Vampyre, yes, you heard right in case you didn’t know, they do exist. The pros win versus the cons, she’s faster, more agile, can cloak herself and her looks are more ravishing than ever. She’s able to see other vamps and finds pride and comfort of her friend Jenna not to mention her new friends Pam who is an angel with the looks of Oprah but with a filthy mouth, and a Fairy name The Kev with the body of Jason Momoa and the voice Arnold Schwarzenegger, who no one other than Astrid can see.

She finds herself in the human world surrounded in the realm of the Supernatural, learning the ways of being a vamp, meeting the prince of darkness Ethan a Vamp who has the body of Chris Hemsworth. Having to find out she’s the chosen one who can speak to demons, fairies and angels and has to save them all, now that is a Clusterfuck!

Debt shouldn’t be a way of life.

I really like this book and I am listening to it on a second time, in fact I have to listen to it several times at work to get through my head that debt is not a tool. It’s so hard not to overspend, but I must learn.
Using money we don’t have is not the smart way. I would like to learn to live like no one else meaning not spending, saving and building ways to be able to save for emergency not digging a hole in debt deeper I can’t get out of. My ex listened to Dave Ramsey and is probably thriving, I want to do the same. I do wish to look better in the mirror and say I’m not fat money wise.

Stranger Things + Critters + Species = Video Night

Adam Cesare wrote a good novel with great 80's Nostalgia. The plot doesn't explained how the aliens arrived or when. It still has some good elements on how it explains to make it a visual aspect in your mind on every detail. It has some sex scenarios which I prefer not to when listening to a horror or sci-fi thrillers. It has good action, humor and a bit of gore. Being born in Generation X and growing in the 80's really loved the story with nostalgic names of toys, movies, singers and movie actors of the era.
Listened through it in only two nights at work. I wished it was longer and the end makes you think there's a sequel. Strangers Things is a great show, but I wouldn't mind seeing Video Night as a Movie. Matt Godfrey did a good job narrating this Unabridge Audiobook.

Definitely loved it. Will look forward to search more books by Darcy Coates. Angela Dawe a great narrator, she has a capturing voice with dexterous voice acting whether it was male or female.

I really enjoyed this book. it has helped me understand my disorder. I hope it helps others. I also hope to get therapy. This book is very informative for people with Borderline Personality Disorder and how to understand and self diagnose into looking for help. Thank you.
