This man is a genius

I have lost count how many times I have listened to Benjamins offbeat phrases and woken up an hour later with no idea what he said but feeling like I was floating on a cloud.
This time around I am four days in to a heart valve transplant and have not slept for three days because the painkillers and the flushes of antibiotics are giving me hypnagogic visions every time I close my eyes. I see horrific visions and no matter what I do I cant get past them. Well they were no match for Benjamin. I blasted his voice through my
headphones and shut my eyes. He carried me through and got me the peace I needed. Thankyou for what you do Benjamin. You have pulled me up so many times. Thankyou

The combination of Tom Baker’s wonderful narration and his beautiful writing made this a very fun experience. I couldn’t help but wish Tom had been the writer on all the tv episodes. He has an intrinsic knowledge of what makes the Doctor tick, although the feeble BBC budget would shrivel under the power of his imagination. Definitely better in audiobook form. Very enjoyable.

For lovers of Stephen King’s IT and Stranger Things this is a must. Wonderful characters brought to life by the best narration I have come across. The narrator’s character voices are flawless. It was like listening to a full cast drama.
