Understand, this book is not written to make you feel bad or condemn you if you have not engaged others with the gospel message. This book is written to encourage and inspire you. Even though pastor and author Greg Laurie is a gospel-presenting professional, in this book he tells stories of his own failure and success. The most important things you will find here are biblical principles that you can apply yourself.

Good Story!
Revisado: 05-03-24
I enjoyed this book a lot. The story was unique and narrator did a fantastic job. I’ve read quite a few books by her father and thought that I’d try reading one that his daughter wrote. I’m glad that I did…Rachelle is just as talented.

Historia
After Tova Sullivan’s husband died, she began working the night shift at the Sowell Bay Aquarium, mopping floors and tidying up. Keeping busy has always helped her cope, which she’s been doing since her eighteen-year-old son, Erik, mysteriously vanished on a boat in Puget Sound over thirty years ago. Tova becomes acquainted with curmudgeonly Marcellus, a giant Pacific octopus living at the aquarium. Marcellus knows more than anyone can imagine but wouldn’t dream of lifting one of his eight arms for his human captors—until he forms a remarkable friendship with Tova.

The narrator’s did a fantastic job! I especially enjoyed listening to Marcellus voice 🐙 I took off a mark for taking the Lord’s name in vain. I don’t know why authors think that doing this helps the story at all?

But for Elsa Wolcott, deemed too old to marry in a time when marriage is a woman’s only option, the future seems bleak. Until the night she meets Rafe Martinelli. Excellent book on the Dust Bowl and Depression Era
Revisado: 11-04-21
I enjoyed this book so much because the author makes you feel as if you’re there going through this horrific time period as well. I have a friend who’s in his late nineties who actually lived through the Dust Bowl Era and would tell me stories about his life when he was growing up and the hardships him and his family endured. Kristin Hannah nailed it and that’s why she’s one of my favorite authors. I just want to keep listening and reading her books because I’m never bored anytime throughout the book. The narrator did such an amazing job with the different voices and accents and really pulled you into the story.

Rock and roll in the BC (Before Cooper) era was a tamer, milder world. In Who I Really Am, Cooper’s latest addition to Audible’s Words + Music series, we learn how the boa-wearing (not the feathered kind) maestro arrived at a show and sound - let’s call it AC for After Cooper - that has entertained millions of kids while terrifying parents in equal measure. Cooper drew inspiration from Saturday matinee horror movies, applied a "no such thing as too much" attitude, and hitched it to a kick-ass rock and roll band.

Enjoyed listening to Alice’s story
Revisado: 10-08-21
I’ve been listening to Alice Cooper ever since I was 9 in the early seventies and my babysitter used to bring her records over. I really enjoyed listening to his story and him narrating his story was the icing on the cake. I watch Greg Laurie on YouTube and was blessed to see him interviewing Alice and thought how awesome is that!! After that I watched an interview with Alice and Sheryl and was so impressed at their love for each other and how in a crazy world and especially in the entertainment industry that God and family is number one in their lives! Well done Cooper’s!!!
