What made the experience of listening to When Can You Start? Ace the Job Interview and Get Hired, Third Edition the most enjoyable?
I liked it how it talked about specific companies. It mentioned and explained how other companies hired and interviewed people.
Any additional comments?
Paul Freiberger’s book “When Can You Start? Ace the Job Interview and Get Hired” (Third edition) is a very useful book. This book is a staple book when it comes to your job search and job interviews. It will be your dictionary when it comes to preparing for your interview. Paul talks about his experiences, what he have learned, tips, tricks, and much more. He goes over phone interviews, panel interviews, McKinsey interview etc.. How to prepare for these types of interviews. How to answer questions in an interview. The book is just filled with helpful chapters that will guide you in your job search. Like I said it will be your dictionary whenever you or someone you know is going through a job search process. The book was very helpful to me because I learned about what companies expect from their interviewees and the behind the scenes of an interview. Chapter 13 even goes over Google interviews, which was very helpful. Paul talks about the Google approach that other companies acquired in their interview sessions. I also enjoyed chapter 15 very much because it talked about a lot of tactics such as timing and timing your answer. It also goes over awkward silence with the interviewer etc.. I highly recommend this book to everyone. Because in one point of our lives we will look for new jobs, or need new jobs. We will move on and this book has every information you need to prepare for that interview!
