This title is excellently narrated, informative, and contains a plethora of ancient wisdom.

Timeless wisdom and insight from an Ancient text. What's beautiful about Ancient Indian Philosophic thought and ideas are their ability to cause one to become deeply introspective.

Eknath Easwaran's translation and perspective of the Upanishads is uniquely inspiring, informative, and ultimately, a pleasure to read /listen to. The audio narration is excellent and keeps the listener longing for more.

If you're looking for a refreshing take on a timeless classic, I highly recommend giving this title a listen.

Timeless Wisdom For a Modern World

In a present world lacking morality, strength of character, and any sense of virtue and integrity, the sayings of Confucius come as a much needed dose of inspirational wisdom.

The book is concise, well narrated, and was a pleasure to listen to... I highly recommend it.

Become Unlimited through the power of thought

This title by far, has been one of the best encouraging books I've read /listened to this year ( February 2024). Shad does an amazing job explaining in detail the powerful effects self-talk and environment play in physically shaping the brain. Neuroplasticity is occurring all the time, with every new thing we encounter. It makes sense to take control and structure the environment we desire to help influence the thoughts we have, which in turn, will powerfully influence the behaviors we exhibit.

The narration is excellent and really engaging making the book a pleasure to listen to. From start to finish the title was exciting and I really look forward to reading much more Shad's work.

Understanding the legend that is Dior...

Marie France Pochna did an amazing job descriptively detailing the extraordinary life of Christian Dior. As if to be a proverbial fly on wall witnessing some of the most fascinating moments which shaped his life, the author transports you back into Dior's somewhat exciting formative years. His numerous interactions with many notable persons like Jacques Cocteau, Balenciaga, wealthy industrialists, princesses, and artists alike, are literally brought to life through the magnificent narration of Nadia May. I honestly have to say... I learned so much more about Dior "the man" from this title, more than any other Dior biography I've read thus far.

It really was a pleasure to listen to... Even if your not into historical fashion narratives or autobiographies, this is a title that delivers on both, exciting information and engaging content!!!...I highly recommend it 👍 👌 😀

A Fashion Icon way ahead of her time...

Africa, Antarctica, Paris, Milan, Japan, and Korea...no matter where you go, the legendary Coco Chanel has been heard of. An extraordinary fashion icon and innovator, this trailblazing Diva changed not only the way we perceive women's fashions, but also the very nature of how fashion is conceptualized by the masses. Intuitively understanding the power fashion possesses upon the human psyche, she challenged preconceived assumptions and societal norms, and altered the global fashion landscape forever.

Karen Karbo does an amazing job chronicling the many fascinating aspects of Chanel's life. Narrator Bernadette Dunne does an equally incredible job bringing Chanel's story to life, leaving the listener eagerly awaiting to hear the next juicy tidbit of Chanel's meteoric rise to international fame and stardom.

Overall, I rated this wonderfully engaging title 5 stars, but if I could, I would have gladly rated it a 10 because it simply was that good 👍 to listen to....

I highly recommend it...👌

Excellent snap shot of the Luxury Fashion space!!!

Timely and informative snap shot of the current space Luxury Fashion inhabits. Don Thompson does an incredible job both capturing and relaying how the global COVD pandemic has altered consumer engagement and response towards Luxury brands. Detailing the pandemic's disruption within many of the world's most prestigious Fashion houses, Thompson brilliantly shows how "business as usual" simply won't suffice. Both, buying habits and consumer engagement experience expectations have shifted significantly within the newly online-shopping oriented, post-pandemic Luxury customer. They demand much much more, and Luxury brands will have to adapt to this emerging marketplace shift or simply die off. As Charles Darwin would probably say...Adapt or die!!!

Regarding narration, Lyle Blaker does a phenomenal job. He brings the text to life making the listening experience quite enjoyable.

If you really want to understand the "real" behind-the-scenes economics of Fashion or are curious about the current state of affairs regarding the world of Luxury Fashion (....this book MUST be put on your reading list.....I highly recommend it!!!
