Wow. After listening to this book I in no way feel sorry for Mary Trump. This book came across to me as somebody simply that is jealous of Trumps success. Regardless of how Donald Trump became president, he is the president. There is a saying that goes like this, “if if and buts were candy and nuts, oh what a Christmas we would have.” Stop crying and move on with your life Mary. I will be returning this book.

Call Me Devil
Revisado: 01-30-20
This book was an excellent behind the scenes look at the DC sniper case. I was living in the DC area and lived this nightmare. Zig zagging when I walked from store to store, crouching down when pumping gas. All of the after school and outside weekend activities were cancelled. You felt like a prisoner in your own neighborhood. Then watching the television and having the local news do a "breaking news" cut in, informing us that there was another shooting, and that shooting was less than 5 miles from your home. I really felt, and feel, for the victims and their families that were affected by these monsters. As soon as I heard this book was being released I ordered it right away. I was not disappointed.

One Stupid Story After Another

This book was nothing more than one Hell's Angel story after another. Not really sure what I was expecting, maybe a little actual inside information about the Angels. Not just a string of endless "adventures".

Historia
On July 27, 1996, a hapless former cop turned hypervigilant security guard named Richard Jewell spotted a suspicious bag in Atlanta’s Centennial Olympic Park, the town square of the 1996 Summer Games. Inside was a bomb, the largest of its kind in FBI and ATF history. Minutes later, the bomb remotely detonated by the attacker amid a crowd of 50,000 people. But thanks to Jewell, it only killed two and wounded 111, not the hundreds who authorities estimated could have otherwise died. With the eyes of the world on Atlanta, the games continued.

Needs a Professional Narrator
Revisado: 05-23-18
The story is taking way to long to get moving. I can't get past the narration. Jake Tapper needs to stick to reading a teleprompter and not narrating a book. Pay a decent reader!!
I really wanted to like this book. I saw an interview with Tapper on CNN (of course). The story sounded very interesting during the interview.

Historia
It was never supposed to be this close. And of course she was supposed to win. How Hillary Clinton lost the 2016 election to Donald Trump is the tragic story of a sure thing gone off the rails. For every Comey revelation or hindsight acknowledgment about the electorate, no explanation of defeat can begin with anything other than the core problem of Hillary's campaign - the candidate herself.

The Real Story
Revisado: 09-24-17
This book tells the real behind the scenes story of Hillery's loss. I just finished What Happened. What a cry baby. If you believe Hillery, everyone was against her and nothing was her fault. Amazing how every network, every reporter, and everyone was out to get her-NOT!!!!!!!! At least according to the world according to Hillery. Oh and Bernie hurt her chances of winning. Well, the last time I checked, everybodies opponent hurts their chances of winning. I returned What Happened. I really enjoyed Shattered.

Millions of people visit xkcd.com each week to read Randall Munroe's iconic webcomic. His stick-figure drawings about science, technology, language, and love have a large and passionate following. Fans of xkcd ask Munroe a lot of strange questions. What if you tried to hit a baseball pitched at 90 percent of the speed of light? How fast can you hit a speed bump while driving and live? If there were a robot apocalypse, how long would humanity last?

what if... this book was actually good?
Revisado: 06-07-16
I usually love this type of book. Fascinating facts and weird science. But, this book turned into one long boring stupid question after another. On many occasions, after the original question was answered, the author decides to try and be funny by adding in his own scenarios to the original question. He was not funny. I think he did this just to lengthen the book.
Some of the questions he decides to answer are absolutely ridiculous. How high would I need to drop a piece of raw meat so that it would be cooked when it hit the ground. REALLY? That is one of the best questions you have been asked for this book.
The narrator was good, though I would have loved to see some of the expressions on his face as he read this book into the microphone.
Sorry I wasted even a 1/2 credit. This was a BOGO book. Now I know why.

Historia
On a frigid New Year’s Eve in Minneapolis, a young woman’s brutalized body falls from the trunk of a car into the path of oncoming traffic. Questions as to whether she was alive or dead when she hit the icy pavement result in her macabre nickname, Zombie Doe. Unidentified and unidentifiable, she is the ninth nameless female victim of the year, and homicide detectives Sam Kovac and Nikki Liska are charged with the task of not only finding out who Zombie Doe is but who in her life hated her enough to destroy her. Was it personal? Or could it just have been a crime of opportunity?
