Historia
This was meant to be the perfect trip. The northern lights. A press launch on a luxury cruise ship. A chance for travel journalist Lo Blackwood to recover from a traumatic break-in that has left her on the verge of collapse and to work out what she wants from her relationship. Except things don't go as planned. Woken in the night by screams, Lo rushes to her window to see a body thrown overboard from the next-door cabin. But the records show that no one ever checked in to that cabin, and no passengers are missing from the boat.

great twists and awesome narration
Revisado: 12-10-24
The narrator does great accents that make the story even more immersive, and doesn't overdo the accents. If you want a gripping book that'll keep your attention the whole time, this is the book for you! highly recommend. The twist is so good, and the book makes you feel like you're figuring everything out along with the main character.

Historia
From her first day at Westwind Cremation & Burial, 23-year-old Caitlin Doughty threw herself into her curious new profession. Coming face-to-face with the very thing we go to great lengths to avoid thinking about, she started to wonder about the lives of those she cremated and the mourning families they left behind, and found herself confounded by people's erratic reactions to death. Exploring our death rituals - and those of other cultures - she pleads the case for healthier attitudes around death and dying.

Caitlin!
Revisado: 09-30-24
Absolutely worth the credit. Loved every seconf and couln't stop listening. If you don't deal with descriptions of death and decay well, this book might not be for you. Or maybe that's exacrly why you should get this book. Caitlin does a great job of narrating her stories, making you feel as if you know all of the people she writes about. What a great story, written so well, with humour that doesn't come off as insensitive, and just the right amount of educational and inspirational. loved it

Great twists!

feels like you're losing your memory with Sarah. The performances are top tier and the story is amazing with a bunch of twists that are both unexpexted, but fit in amazingly when revealed!

Unexpected twist
Revisado: 08-20-24
What an interesring, quick listen! The story started a bit slow for me, but quickly picked up the pace and I couldn't put it down. The story is compelling and the characters feel real. The narration is great- the difference between characters' voices are different enough to be distinguished, without being annoying.
