great story with problems to it.

I know this series is already written, so this criticism is moot, however here it is. This is a great story, with good characters and an incredible world. The problem is the rampant, excessive, gratuitous sex scenes. I am not a prude, but describing every part of all the sexual encounters greatly detracts from the joy of the book. In some instances it has a place and is well done; such as right after almost dying.... but do we're need to hear about every thrust, nibble, suck, bite... and on and on and on. More than once entire chapters have been about a sexual scene between the main characters. It is disturbingly reminiscent of the way junior high boys relate fantasies as they are just discovering puberty. This destroys the flow of the story. It is apparent that the author gravely misses his subscription to Penthouse Letters, and has decided to make up his own.

The information was on a whole informing and entertaining. I was off-put by the psycho-babel nonsense at the end. this last part did not seem to fit, not was it's inclusion explained. I do not feel that this audio book is worth what they charged, and I got a discount. Don't pay more than a few dollars
