The two male characters, Nathan and Jake, fought over Kindal throughout the book. It got boring quickly. Kindal did nothing to stop it and that seemed cruel. The story of the chalice was lost under their fighting .

What did you love best about Soulblade?
Most of the characters are intelligent and have a sense of humor. I loved the personality of the Soul Blade. The female characters were strong and the male characters weren't macho.
What did you like best about this story?
I liked the idea of a weapon, companion that interacts with the owner. Few of the characters rely of cursing but made hilarious comments referring to body parts or sexual activity. There was plenty of action and was never boring.
What about Caitlin Davies’s performance did you like?
Davies was clear and sounded close to what I imagined would sound like.
Did you have an extreme reaction to this book? Did it make you laugh or cry?
Laughed a lot.

I have read all of the Dragon Blood series and could say the same of all the books.

Not sure.
What was most disappointing about Lincoln Child’s story?
Logan's only appearance was a short chapter. Didn't like the character of Dr.Crane.

Maybe the book shouldn't be listed as a book in the Dr. Jeremy Logan series.
