Historia
Before beginning her dream job as sous chef in one of Seattle’s hottest restaurants, Josie Avery takes a summer position cooking at a lakeside lodge in the remote Alaskan town of Ponder. Josie falls for the rustic charms of the local community - including Jack Corcoran, the crotchety keeper of Ponder’s famed sourdough starter, and, in particular, the quiet and intense Palmer Saxon, a famed master swordsmith. Josie and Palmer become close during the long Alaskan summer days, but Josie knows that, come fall, she’ll be returning to reality and the career she’s worked so hard for.

Awful performance
Revisado: 10-25-18
I’m sure this story is as good as all Debbie Macomber stories, but I couldn’t make it past the first 30 minutes because the performance was so poor. Specifically the male voice. The voice of Palmer made him sound goofy and the voice of Jack was an assault to the ears. Not only was the voice of Jack screechy and painful to listen to, it portrayed an entirely different character than when the female voice portrayed him. I couldn’t finish the story.
