The strength of this book is the extensive use of Scripture to support everything Prince teaches. I highly recommend.

Historia
James Dommek, Jr., an Alaska Native writer and musician, sheds new light on a real-life mystery that pits Native American folklore against the US justice system. In the vast Alaskan Arctic, legend has it there once lived a mythic tribe—Iñukuns—that only existed in rumors and whispers. This changed forever when an actor-turned-fugitive, Teddy Kyle Smith, had an encounter that brought Iñukuns from myth to reality. Smith was an aspiring actor with a promising career until it all came quickly crashing down with a gunshot, a manhunt, bloodshed, and other frightful events.

Fascinating Story, Nice Production
Revisado: 12-06-19
I had never heard about the Teddy Smith case, so even that was interesting. But the added element of the Inukuns made it fascinating. The narrator did a great job, and the production value was high. Really enjoyed this.

Historia
In Double Crossed, historian Matthew Avery Sutton tells the extraordinary story of the entwined roles of spy-craft and faith in a world at war. Missionaries, priests, and rabbis, acutely aware of how their actions seemingly conflicted with their spiritual calling, carried out covert operations, bombings, and assassinations within the centers of global religious power, including Mecca, the Vatican, and Palestine.

Cynical
Revisado: 10-03-19
As a Christian minister who loves spy novels and true spy stories, I was very excited to get this book. It did not take long for me to realize that the author holds very cynical views of Christians and spies. He sees Christians as American imperialists who use their faith as a way to spread American values. He displays a special loathing for conservative fundamentalist believers. He sees all spies as lying murderers who would sink to any low to achieve their goals. If you're looking for a true spy story, get a book by Ben Macintyre. You'll feel intrigued and fascinated instead of depressed and needing a shower as I did after listening to this book.

The man he knew as "Control" is dead, and the young Turks who forced him out now run the Circus. Relying only on his wits and a small, loyal cadre, Smiley recognizes the hand of Karla - his Moscow Centre nemesis - and sets a trap to catch the traitor.

A Little Disappointed
Revisado: 08-05-19
After listening to The Spy That Came In From The Cold, which I loved, I never got on track with this one, never really knew where it was headed. Too many names, couldn't keep track of them. I had to keep going to the internet for plot summaries to try and figure out what was happening. Think I'll try Russia House next. Maybe a simpler plot.

Historia
Did you know that most of our dinosaur fossils were discovered because two grown men absolutely hated each other? It’s true! Rivals! Frenemies Who Changed the World is a riotous audio exclusive, like if Monty Python taught your history class. Each volume of four 30-minute histories will dig into the petty name-calling and grumbling grudges that led to many of the world’s greatest advancements, all delivered with a cheeky sense of humor. Choose sides: Cope or Marsh, the jerks who discovered so many dinosaurs; Hamilton or Burr, whose rivalry fueled American politics; and many more....

Great mix of history and humor
Revisado: 07-28-19
The information was fascinating and funny, especially as it was framed in the context of famous rivalries. The narrator was not my favorite.
