Great book with concrete ideas
Revisado: 02-06-23
Surprisingly good! These sort of books tent to be redundant and fluffy, not this book. It had concrete ideas and I never felt like the author was dragging out a points just to fill a chapter.

Historia
Since the publication of the first edition of Critical Race Theory in 2001, the United States has lived through two economic downturns, an outbreak of terrorism, and the onset of an epidemic of hate directed against immigrants, especially undocumented Latinos and Middle Eastern people. On a more hopeful note, the country elected and re-elected its first black president and has witnessed the impressive advance of gay rights. Critical Race Theory is essential for understanding developments in this burgeoning field, which has spread to other disciplines and countries.

Not as good or bad a people say
Revisado: 10-08-21
It was better than expected. The author offers valuable information for someone wanting to learn what CRT truly teaches. It also has some balanced questions at the end of each chapter that I found insightful. The main complaint I have with the theory is that it fundamentally and chronically places minorities as victims and white people as aggressors. Although this my perhaps be often the case, it’s not always the case. Real life is much more nuanced than that. Such a simplistic explanation seems disingenuously lazy for an academic author.
