This is a great listen. Relatable stories. Focus on overcoming intense difficulties and getting the other side. Emphasis on teamwork and checking in with people. I liked it very much. Thankyou.

This story is very special to me. I am so happy that it has finally been recorded. My mother read it to me growing up and I have read it several times since. A story about life, the strength of women, and the value of community. A beautiful description of settling the Nebraska territory. Stories that anyone who's ever had to move somewhere new and how they dealt with it. I hope all the other titles by Bess Streeter Aldrich will be recorded for Audible.

Very sweet and emotionally touching story about coming to terms with aging, losing someone you love...sometimes that means who you used to be....the love of a granddaughter and her mother, and the love of a woman for her own mother when she us, herself, old. Wrapped up in the blues and greens of a mermaid fairy tale I found this to be deeply moving and very relevant. The narrators were perfect.
