About Face for the Fighter Pilots
Revisado: 07-26-22
Comfortably seated in the top tier of great American war memoirs. Superbly written. The ending was very emotional. Echoes of About Face by Colonel Hackworth- but from one of his legendary contemporaries flying over head. His tale spans over two American wars and the wild transitions and advances in those decades from butter bar to Brigadier General. Highest recommendations.

Historia
Every leader must be ready and willing to take charge, to make hard, crucial calls for the good of the team and the mission. Something much more difficult to understand is that in order to be a good leader, one must also be a good follower. This is a dichotomy - a Dichotomy of Leadership. It is, as authors Jocko Willink and Leif Babin explained in their best-selling first audiobook, Extreme Ownership, “Simple, Not Easy”.

Solid useful information to structure team goals

While it's dry at times, this process when implemented properly does work and the book is full of comprehensive case studies and fully demonstrates the underlying theory very well.

"In Fool's Errand, Scott Horton masterfully explains the tragedy of America's longest war and makes the case for immediate withdrawal. Historia
The state makes a mess of everything it touches, argues Jeffrey Tucker in Bourbon for Breakfast. Perhaps the biggest mess it makes is in our minds. Its pervasive interventions in every sector affect the functioning of society in so many ways, we are likely to intellectually adapt rather than fight. Tucker proposes another path: See how the state has distorted daily life, rethink how things would work without the state, and fight against the intervention in every way that is permitted.

A book for every young professional
Revisado: 04-13-15
This book is energetic and fascinating from beginning to end. It covers many topics and offers actionable items that you can apply in your own life. This book really shines as a book for young libertarian professionals who embrace their youth and seek to maximize their impact on the world. The book is saturated with a rebellious undertone that is characteristic of Tucker and I would argue is key to the advancement of Liberty in the millennial generation. This book is great for those who are familiar with libertarian ideas BUT It can serve as an introductory read to the libertarian schools of thought for new comers.

Explores everything you live in
Revisado: 03-26-15
Those of us who have begun the intellectual journey of libertarian thought find ourselves exploring ideas at odds with many "intellectual" classes that simply promote what Tom Woods calls "allowable opinion." This book exposes the ridiculous fallacies and straight up cowardice of the ideas encompassed in "allowable opinion" and makes the arguments against these ideas promoting thought that libertarians find to be much more relevant. It's a breath of fresh air for those of us who have to deal with this battle every day and the book also provides depth and historical data to shed light on these issues in ways that were new to me. Fantastic and elegant communication of these thoughts with a healthy bit of very engaging humor.
