Historia
Overthinking isn't a personality trait. It's the sneakiest form of fear. It steals time, creativity, and goals. It's the most expensive, least productive thing companies invest in without even knowing it. And it's an epidemic. When New York Times best-selling author Jon Acuff changed his life by transforming his overthinking, he wondered if other people might benefit from what he discovered. He commissioned a research study to ask 10,000 people if they struggle with overthinking too, and 99.5 percent said, "Yes!"

Best Book of 2021!! I immediately started it over for a second pass!!
Revisado: 04-14-21
Jon, you did it again, and this one isn’t just game-changing, it’s life-changing... incredible!!
My friends and family have heard all about it, I keep going back to play little sections so they can hear for themselves! The cafe writing turndown, Yanni, your horrible boss, leaky car, haircuts, the Duomo, your giant coin purchase! (No wonder there’s a shortage now, lol)
I literally hit PLAY to start it all over again! I couldn’t wait to come and review it. I can’t say enough about it!
I love how you write, and your audiobooks are so fun and engaging... even though I can still hear you when I read the print version.
I’ve bought extra copies for family, and I promise to tell everyone I know how much this book can offer!!
I can’t wait for my signed copy to arrive!! I’ve never ordered an autographed book in my life, but I wanted this one from you!!
Thank you for not overthinking this writing project!! The world needs this book right now!!
With much gratitude, TL in Florida

Oh to have a Time Machine and this book!!
Revisado: 01-16-20
I wish I'd known this as a young person -- so thankful to have found it now. This is a really important concept, and the author does a fantastic job of explaining both the what and the why of each point. I loved the examples...really helped to understand in context. I look forward to using my new eyes, and I will be sharing and re-visiting this book often. My teenage sons are going to start on it next week. What a gift to understand this at their age!!

Unique look into real lives... real relationships
Revisado: 11-28-18
Esther Perel gives us a rare opportunity not just to hear, but to understand these participants... their story, including what is not initially said... So insightful.
Each relationship is so different, yet I found myself taking something valuable away from each one...

Historia
Fumio Sasaki is not an enlightened minimalism expert or organizing guru like Marie Kondo - he's just a regular guy who was stressed out and constantly comparing himself to others, until one day he decided to change his life by saying goodbye to everything he didn't absolutely need. The effects were remarkable: Sasaki gained true freedom, new focus, and a real sense of gratitude for everything around him.

Very relatable - easy to follow

I felt like the author shared his humanity, letting the reader know that they could do it, too. His personal stories and setbacks encourage the reader that anything is possible.
