Delightful!
Revisado: 02-14-25
I loved everything about this story. The children were all precious. The message of love as a super power in the face of discrimination, prejudice, and fear is a strikingly important message right now. I read the sequel as soon as this one finished and I restarted this one a second time, after finishing the sequel. It is magical!

Wonderful
Revisado: 04-01-22
I can’t get enough of Father Gregory Boyle and his homies. This is a master class on deep and healing love. I especially love to hear Father G read it in his soothing, hilarious, and heartbreaking (but always compassionate) manner. I immediately began the audible story after reading the last page. I’ll probably listen a few more times as I let his message marinate into my bones.

Hope
Revisado: 09-26-20
This is such a powerful voice, filled with love and hope. Ms. Wade’s gentle voice belies the power she speaks, regarding a love that can erode hate. I believe I will listen to this book many more times, to soak in her wisdom. Thank you Ms. Wade for this beautiful message!
