The aliens tested humans on an individual basis for miner rentals. Do well on your pilot test, get a spaceship, sign up with a corp, and you can mine the belt. For a puddle-jumper pilot like me, yeah, I was so interested I became obsessed. When I finally tested, I performed above and beyond, being offered a contract for some better than a miner - Earth's First Starfighter.

too many discrepancies

Between the name changes and lacking audio edits I just couldn't finish the series. The story is good but it broke my emersion too many times for me.
p.s.
I'm a narrator as well. The simple things like repeated lines in different voices is just a peeve of mine.

I read most of this on RR a while ago. when I saw it on here I had to pre-order it, snd it does not disappoint. Looking forward to book 2 on kindle and will still pick it up on audible when it releases. The narrators was amazing as well

Different take on the whole soul transfer into a xianxia world. The story gets a little detailed during the crafting phases. Personally, I enjoy the extra detail and understanding the author imparts upon us.

Overall not a bad story. A little world building and characters back story. But mostly just keeping the story moving forward. I will pick up the next book, but I hope the author will consider releasing bundles to really get the bang for each credit spent.

surprisingly good story

I was honestly shocked and surprised at how well this cultivation story was put together. I was expecting the same old trope of reincarnated MC uses knowledge to make himself Superman right away and take over the world. While some of that may be true, he finds a crap ton of new things that he never knew, and it changes his whole plan in the making.
Nicely done on the narration as well.
