Summary of others
Revisado: 01-05-23
This book is simply a compilation or summary of the high points from other great books regarding success. There is nothing novel here except the conversation points, which are arguably not earth shattering either. Spend your time reading the other books. They are more poignant, thought provoking, and have much lore depth.

We Need To Talk: a memoir about first world problems
Revisado: 02-23-21
7 hours of a women talking about how it’s hard to be rich.
I heard about this book on the Stacking Benjamin’s podcast and it sounded interesting. Unfortunately, it was not what I expected and reading it just made me angry for purchasing I and thus contributing to her wealth and thus contributing to more first world problems and thus a second edition of this book at some point :(

Historia
The Founding Fathers tried to protect us from the threat they knew, the tyranny that overcame ancient democracy. Today, our political order faces new threats, not unlike the totalitarianism of the twentieth century. We are no wiser than the Europeans who saw democracy yield to fascism, Nazism, or communism. Our one advantage is that we might learn from their experience.

On Tyranny: Twenty Lessons to bash Donald Trump
Revisado: 10-03-17
The first 16 chapters of the book aren't bad but leave you wishing there were more details on each historical example. The last chapters are a relentless flogging of the current president Donald Trump. There's not even an attempt at being objective.
The lesson on having a private life says that reading Hillary Clinton's emails and accepting their content is an act towards totalitarianism. The author says that people should not promote the content of the emails because the emails were private and obtained through illegal means. The fact that the content was actually true or not meant nothing in his eyes. At this point, I wanted to stop reading but forced myself to finish.
