Dated but still relevant

Exceedingly boring. I had to listen to it at 1.5 speed. I'm converting to Catholicism and this was the necessary step to understand it all. I could have gone without the commentary which is heavy and exceptionally dated in many spots. there's so much of this that feels as though it was from the late '70s even though it was in large part done only 20 something years ago. it needs a massive update to stay relevant... regardless, all the glory to God.

littered with shortcomings and inaccuracies

I've read many books on Alexander the grade and find this one to come up lacking. there are a multitude of historical inaccuracies and or assumptions that this author takes in order to justify their opinion on what they view to be Alexander the Great absolute truth. there were a few new and unique points that this book made but due to all of its other errors I find it to be difficult to trust as useful when discussing the Alexander narrative because of what I seem to see as an unmitigated bias towards a direct point. please forgive my spelling and accuracy or grammar errors. all of this was done while driving and voice to text was used LOL

In the end, I would argue that this book is probably not as Good As Ready player One because it is not very novel. there's a lot of similarities. Feels a little bit like relisting to the first book which isn't a bad thing. it's just redundant and lacking originality. I hope there is a sequel and I would totally watch it if it were a movie. Regardless five stars

I truly love this book. I now suggest it to nearly everyone I know as a required reading. No matter their age or political leaning, there's something in here for everyone.

Excellent material. I don't agree with everything

Absolutely fantastic book. God is definitely speaking through this literature. I will say that the narrator's voice annoyed me beyond measure sometimes. I just don't like his style or sound. He sounds like over the top Baptist preacher who pauses and breaks up his sentences way too often LOL. Some people might like that though. That's just what I heard and I didn't particularly care for it. Either way all the material is fantastic.

A fascinating Biblical investigation.

The author brings us into the actual biblical worldview of the writers of the Bible. this is a solid Christian book written by a follower of Christ.

Outstanding book.

I absolutely loved it. The way dr. Gary Chapman narrates his fantastic fantastic guide book t how to win in any marriage or relationship is fantastic and heartwarming. it will be practically impossible for Anyone who reads this to not get something extremely applicable for their personal relationships. it is a short and fantastically straightforward guidebook on how to feel and give love to your significant others, family, and friends.
