Where is Book 2?

how can you leave a cliff hanger like that?!?!? For this to be the first book, it was very well thought out. Ashley Flowers is a professional. Crime Junky bias aside, I am quite skeptical of mystery novels. Growing up on Agatha Christie, I find a lot of modern day mysteries quite predictable. This book had you guessing from the opening scene. You know who did it, but your not quite sure, until midway through when you change your mind, only to guess until the end. Bravo!

The Worst Audible Ever

The concept could be considered interesting, but the context and characters were written irresponsibly. Haphazardly throwing real life issues based on conjectures instead of facts and then glorifying such behavior is grotesque at best. Time wasted, disappointed for such brilliance reaching for the low hanging fruit.

Absolutely Intellectually Boring

I am very disappointed that I wasted a credit on this. This book would require a little more streamline organization versus a stream of consciousness. I am not sure if it is the author's intent to through all of the characters and events at you to make it harder of a mystery (a technique used by Agatha Christie), but the Author does not layer events and characters in order for the reader to be introduced or buy-in to the story. Even if the author intended to confuse the reader by introducing an array of characters and events within the first few chapters - it would help to have a narrator that distinguished people with voices. to have a monotone voice and the same dreary rainy day voice throughout the book causes one to loose focus and to confuse when he is playing a character instead of narrating.

My last frustration with this is for audible itself - I cannot remove the book from my library.

Amazing as always

The narrator is phenomenal with accents and characters. The story is great and makes you addicted to the next story.

Hard read to get through

The structure of the story is weak. I agree with other critiques of the narrations (i.e. too slow, needing more diversity, ECT.)

Will Make You Laugh Your Own Banshee Song

I only have two critiques:
1. Need another book pronto!
2. Need another book pronto!

Molly (yes, we are on a first name basis) and I have taken this journey since our dragon days. Each time she takes us on a journey that makes you feel. She especially has a way of making you laugh, chuckle and all around smile during her story. Molly has made me feel like each character is a friend, one that I would call up to have herbal tea with. not much can be said, Molly is a true story teller and a great pen pal. If you need a laugh, follow Molly as she introduced the two newest characters who fumble their way through Mystic Bayou.

Never Disappointed

The level of detail Danaka puts into each story is remarkable. you're never lost, you feel as though you are right there with the characters and you expect to see them lurking around the corner. The story lines intertwine to the point you forget you're listening to a paranormal story, but you actually start believing everything is possible. you are never Disappointed with a Danaka Dark story.

The voice is horrible

I cannot fairly rate the story as I couldn't even get past the voice reading it. Suggestion, find someone else to read the story re-record it and give it another shot.
