Historia
Dennis E. Taylor, author of the best-selling Bobiverse trilogy, explores a whole different, darker world in this sci-fi stand-alone. Determined to give his wife and children a better life back home, Ivan Pritchard ventures to the edge of known space to join the crew of the Mad Astra as an asteroid miner. He's prepared for hard work and loneliness—but not the unthinkable. After coming into contact with a mysterious alien substance, Pritchard finds an unwelcome entity sharing his mind, and a disturbing physical transformation taking place.

Couldn't wait to listen to the next chapter
Revisado: 12-14-18
I loved the story. It required many voices from the narrator, he could have done better on some of the secondary characters. Still, I listened to the book with passion.

Are we lucky or what? Ab Eye Opener
Revisado: 11-29-16
Several narrators managed to keep an interisting story going. Several of the contributirs made it clear, that most poor women have no choice but to sell their bodies or starve. The overall economic climate across the world underpays women. So being male, white and from one of the more affluent countries ( often brought by theft, war, slavery ), I am blessed and the words of the interviewed woman made this very clear to me.

Historia
How is it possible for the disciplines of cosmology, geology, anthropology, biology, and history to fit together? These 48 lectures answer that question by weaving a single story from accounts of the past developed by a variety of scholarly disciplines. The result is a story stretching from the origins of the universe to the present day and beyond, in which human history is seen as part of the history of our Earth and biosphere, and the Earth's history, in turn, is seen as part of the history of the universe.

Thrilling History
Revisado: 09-26-16
I learned a lot about the history of the world and humanity. I am going to listen to it again, as a lot of details have been covered. Amazing facts are being presented. Like the weak and diseased sceletons of grain-fed city dwellers compared to the strong bones of hunter gatherers, as found in ancient graves all over the world.

This book is changing my life
Revisado: 08-26-15
The logic presented is clear, there is no doubt about the message. The 2nd half can get boring, he throws too many numbers and statistics in the room. Nevertheless, the message is clearly communicated in the first half, no harm done by letting the bored mind wander toward the end.
