Historia
By all rights, Arch-swindler Moist von Lipwig should be meeting his maker at the end of a noose. Instead, Lord Vetinari, supreme ruler of Ankh-Morpork, has made him the city’s Postmaster General. Death may be preferable to fixing the Postal Service—a creaky, outdated institution beset by eccentric employees, mountains of old, undelivered mail Moist swears is talking to him, and a dangerous secret order. To restore the postal service to its former glory, Moist accepts the help of the tough talking and very attractive activist Adora Belle Dearheart.

Send it to yourself!

If there was a discworld book to end all discworld book, this might be it. As for the audiobook format I’m was very happy with the performance. Much like the witches series, this book really feels understood, and each line is delivered so perfectly that it’s hard to imagine the story any other way. If I did read it I’d just be imagining the same voices anyway, it’s that good…!
I’m also happy to say Stanley is now my favorite discworld character.

What’s better than a happy ending? A dozen of them!
Revisado: 09-25-24
If you enjoyed the amazing preference of Howls Moving Castle and the evermore amazing themes and story of Diana Wynne Jones, this sequel only ramps it up!
Without spoiling anything the same humor and imaginative take on the traditional fantasy and fairytales we saw in Howl are brought to use again by Jones with a new and lovable main character and a new (almost) group of friends that join him along the way. It’s a must listen if just for the wonderful performance by Jenny Sterlin who must be just about the best and most perfect fit for this series and seems to be built into the tapestry of it!
Needless to say, I highly recommend.

Historia
As the witch of the Chalk, Tiffany Aching performs the distinctly unglamorous work of caring for the needy. But someone—or something—is inciting fear, generating dark thoughts and angry murmurs against witches. Tiffany must find the source of unrest and defeat the evil at its root. Aided by the tiny-but-tough Wee Free Men, Tiffany faces a dire challenge, for if she falls, the whole Chalk falls with her. . . .

How do the books keep being this good?!
Revisado: 04-24-24
The penultimate book in the Tiffany Aching series of Discworld books. I am shaken by each and every book. These are the kinda of books I wish I had when I was younger, to walk with Tiffany as she learned to be a witch… and I learned how to be me! Now Tiffany is getting older and I am too, she keeps facing troubles and… this is the important part… she keeps facing them. Thank you Terry Pratchett.
