Historia
Minalan the Spellmonger has a problem: Mycin Amana, the undead consort of Korbal the Necromancer, is not only occupying one of the largest castles in the kingdom; she’s also occupying the recently-dead body of his former lover, rapist, and mother of his children, Isily of Greenflower. As the crises in the heart of the kingdom grows, Minalan is tasked to force the so-called Witch Queen of Darkfaller from her new stronghold using any means necessary. Unfortunately, the castle belongs to his rival in the royal court and future monarch Prince Tavard, whose ideas are doomed to failure.

John Lee is amazing
Revisado: 12-12-22
Once again John Lee knocks this out of the park! Especially with all of the perspectives that he needs to read from in this book, he remains consistent throughout and delivers another great performance!
This book is great from the start, just be sure to read Mad Mage of Sevendor before you read this one, there is a lot of information in MMoS that is pretty important for this book.
My only complaint about Marshal Arcane is that is just kind of... ends. The book ended and I found myself confused because there wasn't any indication that the book would be over. I still loved the book overall, but it was very jarring when John stopped reading and my phone went quiet.

just wow
Revisado: 10-01-20
Jim did it again, a long wait that was well worth it. I still wish peace talks and battle ground would have been one book but holy cow was this amazing. if you're even slightly interested is fantasy books, this is, simply put, the best non- high fantasy series I've ever picked up.

Historia
Just when Baron Minalan the Spellmonger figured out there was a slim chance to restore his mind-shattered wife Alya (if he's willing to journey to the undercaverns of Olum Seheri, the lair of Korbal the Necromancer), things start to go awry: not only does Prince Tavard, his unloved liege lord, decide to conduct an official state visit to Sevendor on pilgrimage to the Everfire on the Briga's feast day, but a mysterious seamage appears at his door with an intriguing offer from the Sea Folk who rule Callidore: They want to buy snowstone. An entire mountain of it.

Wall to wall excitement
Revisado: 08-14-20
This is Min's crowning achievement! after several books build up, this is where he finally flexes his arcane muscles and kicks some ass. I found myself enthralled from start to finish, the readers delivery and overall story will have anyone blowing through this book.

Historia
Captured and tortured by the brutal tyrant, Argonox, Reigh's worst fears have now been realized. Argonox has successfully twisted his mysterious dark power for a truly evil purpose - reanimating the long-deceased legendary dragonrider, Beckah Derrick, and her monstrous king drake. But Argonox's cruelty won't end there, and Reigh fears the worst is yet to come. Rescue is unlikely as the Tibrans prepare to make their final strike, poised to break Maldobar's ranks of proud dragonriders once and for all.

massive let down
Revisado: 09-12-19
This ending was heartbreakingly disappointing. several plot points set up to be ignored. I spent most of the book wondering what was going on with Ray to just have that glossed over near the end. There were also several things I wanted more details on, but never got. To me this felt like the author was trying to just finish the story to finish, rather than finish with a great wrap up book.
