An Informative and Engaging Story
Revisado: 03-17-14
What about Susanna Burney’s performance did you like?
Susanna Burney does a good job narrating the story. Her female voices are enjoyable and her male voices, convincing. Her pacing is excellent. She captures the tone and mood of the story, and it is easy to listen to her narration.
Any additional comments?
I found this book to be engaging and detailed in a way that allows you to connect with the storyline, the characters, and the setting. If you like historical fiction about Ireland with women at the focal point, then this is a book you can easily enjoy. The story provides painful insight into the plight of Ireland in the late 1800's as well as an accurate portrait of what it was like for women during this time [Just Audiobook Reviews].

Ideal book for creating real happiness
Revisado: 11-05-13
Any additional comments?
The author narrates this book. She does a very good job with her performance and her pacing is excellent. Valerie's sincere tone reflects the fact that she speaks as someone who has had to overcome unhappiness in her own life and in her own way of thinking. The examples she uses in the book support this fact.Happiness As A Second Language is for people who need a practical and engaging strategy for learning to be happy in such a way that the everyday challenges of life do not steal away that happiness. The idea of approaching happiness as if learning a language is so easy to understand and to apply. Most people will relate to the real-life examples provided; they will also appreciate the fact that, for the most part, as they follow the instructions in the book, they will feel and be genuinely happy and not have to settle for pretending to be that way.[More insights are available at Just Audiobook Reviews.]

A truly wonderful and enjoyable children's story
Revisado: 07-15-13
What about Anjna Patel’s performance did you like?
Her enthusiasm and dramatic narration are just right for this story. It's easy to imagine a room full of children sitting around her and being caught up in the way she animates this book.
Any additional comments?
Jake Taylor has created a children's book full of characters that each have their own unique personality. Each one is interesting, and they all serve to make Little Wing's adventure a fun-filled and educational quest for children to follow. A note on the age group for this book: children from four to six or seven can probably easily absorb all the lessons in it. Some of the final lessons in the book seem more suited for children who are maybe eight years or older. The book is illustrated in a way that makes it seem like watching a movie, and it would be a great companion to the audiobook. [Just Audiobook Reviews]

Historia
In modern day Chicago, deja vu draws together a handsome mounted policeman and the beautiful young woman who saves his life. This tender love story pulls the reader back to previous lives and a time richly elegant. Yesterday is also a harrowing tale of escape through the American Civil War and the Great Chicago Fire of 1871. A life of tragedy is Amanda's destiny, or so she believes. But, in this historical romance, Mark fights through Amanda's rejection to prove that she will love again as she once loved - Yesterday.

An interesting romance involving reincarnation
Revisado: 07-05-13
What about Darlene Allen’s performance did you like?
Darlene Allen is an ideal narrator for this book. She does a good job with her female voices and with the dialects. Most of her male voices are convincingly masculine. I liked her voice of Mark, the male protagonist, the best, though she does have a little trouble with his accent, sometimes.
Any additional comments?
Samyann, with her beautiful gift for writing, uses reincarnation to resolve the conflict between the lovers in a way that I found unique. In addition to being a romance, this story is also a historical fiction, and the historical aspects are tied in well with the storyline. There are scenes in the story that slow down the momentum and the tension. However, these scenes are informative and have characters in them, you’ll enjoy meeting. The sex in the book is not explicit, and there is a good deal of profanity. Amanda and Mark, the heroine and hero, respectively, are well-developed characters. Listeners should have no problems following them through their struggles to overcome the past and to be happy together in the present [Just Audiobook Reviews].

Enter a fantasy world and a story you'll enjoy.
Revisado: 06-11-13
What does Jeanne Whitehouse bring to the story that you wouldn’t experience if you just read the book?
Jeanne Whitehouse is the ideal narrator for this story. She handles the voices of the women and children, well. Her masculine voices, for the most part, are convincing and in some cases, fun to listen to. Her youthful reading voice easily connects readers to Angel’s point of view.
Any additional comments?
Finding Angel is a Y/A fantasy, every lover of the genre should read. The author is gifted with the ability to offer readers an imaginary island filled with magical animals and plants unlike those they've encountered in other stories.Angel, the protagonist, is compassionate, intelligent, and someone whose perspective you won’t mind spending time in. The battle between good and evil has twists and intricacies that easily let you know you’re being presented magic in a whole new way. This is the kind of book, you’re bound to enjoy listening to, several times over.

A compelling warning through the voice of fiction
Revisado: 06-07-13
Which character – as performed by Jeffrey Buckner Ford – was your favorite?
Jeffrey Ford does an exceptional job with narrating this story. He handles all the voices and accents well, and his pacing is just right. This was the first of his narrations to which I had listened. I look forward to hearing another story read by him.
Any additional comments?
Noah Beck has created an engaging story involving a present-day world threat. Through the perspectives of his characters and well-executed action scenes, listeners are drawn into this fiction and into the concerns and challenges facing the submariners aboard the Dolphin. His book's subject: Iran's threat against Israel is presented in a way that makes all who read it give serious thought to this ever-present possibility that is not being taken seriously enough.
