Historia
Consciousness creates all material reality. Biological processes do not create consciousness. This conceptual breakthrough turns traditional scientific thinking upside down. In An End to Upside Down Thinking, Mark Gober traces his journey. He explores compelling scientific evidence from a diverse set of disciplines, ranging from psychic phenomena to near-death experiences to quantum physics and beyond.

incredibly good

Gives a wonderful overview. Concise, but thorough at the same time. Best book I've read in the past year.

Historia
Afterlife communications are delivered every day, but some messages are given in ways that require more interpretation and extra awareness. From the Other Side, signs are used by loved ones to connect with their family and friends on this earthly plane. Oftentimes, the gifts they share are difficult to identify. Mastering a new language is hard work, but learning to speak the language of spirit is more difficult. This book is an ABC's narrative for identifying signs, messages, and signals from the afterworld.

Couldn't finish - sounded like an AI voice
Revisado: 04-01-24
This is not a fair review considering that I couldn't finish listening. I found the narrator's voice and cadence so annoying that I just couldn't listen anymore.

Had me, then lost me completely
Revisado: 03-25-24
I was looking forward to learning more about how a person can find happiness in living a simple, quiet life. The first four chapters did not disappoint. Then the author, along with others, began going on about grief - specifically the loss of a parent or sibling, and how, basically, a person will get over it and move on if they pursue it. As a parent who lost a child, I felt this was insensitive and insulting. When she started quoting Oprah, I nearly lost all interest. I decided to continue listening just in case things got better, but decided to exit the final chapter early when the author began to sing the praises of Charles Darwin. It should be noted that the author has a background in law, rather than medicine or psychiatry.
