Sebastian York barely narrates the book

This book was long and winded for no reason. It felt like the author was just adding things for shock value. The end was rushed without losing any of the things she set up in books 1&2. It took me 3wks to finish it because it was so boring and predictable but l couldn’t return it. I DON’T RECOMMEND. The smutt is poorly written, the character is supposedly to be an independent working woman but always so whiny. Sebastian York did great narrating but he is in less than a third of the book narration. Disappointed.

Long winded

The story was unnecessarily long with predictable drama after drama. The smutt was average, dom and sub dynamic. I didn’t really enjoy it and wish l hadn’t wasted my credit. The FMF wasn’t super whiny so that’s good. Multiple narrators were a plus. Wouldn’t recommend and l love omegaverse romance .

Swiftie inspired romance with rock climbing

The fake accent almost ruined the book

If you can get past the fake Ukrainian accent from the narrator then it’s a good book. The narrator goes in and out of the accent one moment it’s American the next it’s “Ukrainian”. I ended up just getting the book on kindle as it was distracting.

Sadly underwhelming

I waited all year for the continuation of the story and it felt flat. The book was 3/4 sex which is fine but doesn’t add anything to the plot. Then it ends with a cliffhanger, l feel like the story could have been wrapped up in 2 books and not a trilogy. At the very least this could have been more backstory on Alexei as the first one was about Alina. This book is shorter so hopefully the third one comes out soon. Not sure l will keep following as the 3rd one might still be a cliffhanger which seems like a drag and money grab.

Favorite book in the series

Kiara and Nino’s love is so sweet. This book is sort of a part one of their story which continues in twisted bonds. It’s wonderful to see Kiara overcome her fears with Nino’s help and she helps home overcome his past. A different take as she is strong her own way and l like how the writer doesn’t make it seem like there is a magic wand that takes care of trauma. I’d encourage continuing their story.

A bit corny. A combination of Kathryn Moon’s books

Wasn’t sure how many stars to give. It starts off okay but is predictable. If you like omegaverse I’d suggest Kathryn Moon’s Lola and the Millionaires. The smutt in Moon’s book is better written .This book is an abbreviated, corny version of her omegaverse series, there’s even a Garett in it and it has more character development between each alpha. This book is pleasant enough.

Underwhelming. I listened to this after Lola and the millionaires and l think the bar was raised too high. It was funny at times but was a waste of my credit.

Loved this book and the narration was great. It was a great combination of Huntington and Shein’s writing style. Favorite read of 2023 so far!!
