I have several audio bibles. This one is a favorite. A few small glitches but nothing serious. There is no annoying music. Just a perfect voice reading the Word.

I love a good mystery, historical fiction and especially stories about WWII. This book combined all of that and past my test of the best mysteries in that I didn't figure out the solution before it was revealed.

I love this book. It is a logical approach to the belief in Jesus and the Bible. Some have no issues with doubt but others have difficulty in this area and need a logical approach. This book is it. God Bless.

As I started this book, I expected to get details to a story I already knew the ending to.  Imagine my surprise to find it was much more than that!
It has the elements of all the great books; mystery, humor, suspense, action, wonder and surprise with the added bonus of faith thrown in.  A story that tells us all giving up the things of this world may cause us some discomfort nonetheless, with it comes a freedom filled with joy, peace, and companionship.
As the author reads the listener is carried away into this young man’s life where you find yourself laughing, crying, and feeling the transformation from this world to the world of Christ.  Into the knowledge of Him and the reality that God has a plan for all our lives and if we accept that plan, we can live amazing lives.
God blessed Micah with many gifts, and it appears that story telling is NOT THE LEAST OF THESE!  I pray his story will bring others to Christ.

Reading true accounts of people who persevere despite their circumstances is enjoyable as well as informative.  Originally looking for “Not Without My Daughter” to listen to the story read years ago and instead found "My Name is Mahtob".  This is the first book in a very long time that I couldn’t put down.  The book was filled with faith which amazed me.  It openly deals truth regarding families, people, grace, and the importance of forgiveness.  All of this was an unexpected treat and to top it off there was an element of suspense.  Most importantly the message that as American’s we should embrace one another regardless of our race, color, or national origin.  It points out the richness of adding other cultures to our own and embracing those who are different from ourselves.  Mahtob was a strong child who became a strong woman despite all that happened to her and being “different”.  It gives me optimism that children raised with respect for themselves and others can overcome negative incidents in their lives as well as question those in authority that push their own views with threats.

It was difficult to get through this book. It made me sad and sick. I almost stopped listening altogether multiple times, the only thing that kept me going is that I can't stand to leave things undone. I know people with personalities like Shelly's and pray the families of those people are not like the ones in this book. The story is a testament to "truth is often stranger than fiction". It is difficult to believe that adults would allow this behavior against them but I do know what it is like to be manipulated and not realize it until later. I'm mostly shocked and find difficult the light sentences for the taking of three lives. Not to mention the lives of the abused children spoiled forever. I gave the book the best review because as hard as it was to listen to, it had to have been much worse to write and read out loud. I think it is an important book for people to read so they know these kind of people are out there and it is difficult to know sometimes who they are.

This book spells out the plain truth and backs it up. I challenge those who only listen to main stream media to read this book.

I purchased this book as a small symbol of support for the family that gave up so much for me and the American people.  I was not shocked to learn that Donald Trump Jr.  is a good person, smart, hardworking, and not afraid to speak his mind.  I never thought we would have anything in common other than our love for this country.  I was shocked to learn that aside from the money, and his business accomplished father we were raised the same way; playing in the woods, hunting, fishing, and working in the family business.
The book is well written and made me feel as if I was sitting around talking with my brothers.  The author has the same sense of humor and sarcasm as they do and obviously the same love for his siblings.
One important thing the book points out is how the mainstream media takes things out of context to manipulate the audience.  This is something I find the most heartbreaking about what is happening to our country; many Americans allow themselves to be fed by the media instead of going to the source and making up their own minds.  One good thing that has come out of the fraudulent election is that I now see there are many more Americans out there that still do think for themselves.  Thank God!

I could listen to Scott Brick read a phone book but fortunately he was the narrator for this great Novel instead. This book was required reading in high school for my brother who recommended this book to me. I'm 10 years younger than he and am among the first American victims of a public socialist education. The author came to this country for the freedom to write and wrote a warning novel for the American people to understand socialism is just another word for hopelessness and slavery. God bless her.

I chose this title because it was on sale and from the title appeared to be related to two subjects that are important to me.  The issues that face Rural USA and South Carolina which was once my home and still dear to me.  Although the book does mention some of my same concerns; how NAFTA and other political decisions have decimated rural USA and especially the rural poor and middle class; the lack of medical care available to rural USA; and although not related to rural USA, issues involving women’s health and in this case specifically black women’s health.  I commend this young man for being an advocate for his wife, mother, and sister.  Unfortunately, much of the good in the book was overshadowed by the bitterness, politics, and racism.  I would like to challenge this young man to stop seeing things in black and white and start seeing we are all American’s and need to work together to create jobs, improve education and opportunities for all American’s especially the poor.  Stop looking back for bitterness sake and look at it from the mistakes that we made and how we can improve things for all.  Fight what is in front of us, the trend toward socialism and anarchy as those are the biggest threats to our nation and people.
