Historia
Every story has a beginning often driven by fate. The McKinnon Legends are no exception. It is the year of our Lord 1493, and King Henry VII has been seated on the English throne for eight years. He did not get there by chance alone. Nor has he stayed there with ease. He has his favorites, generously rewarding those who serve him well. Sir Nic McKinnon is at the top of that list. For his faithful devotion, Nic finds himself graciously rewarded. That reward is the hand in marriage to the seventh duchess of Seabridge.

Loved This Book
- De Kathy en 11-29-15
Terrible narrator. Very grating and annoying voice
Revisado: 08-12-17
What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Better research into the inheritance laws of England
What do you think your next listen will be?
Mystery or crime, maybe time travel or history
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Awful voice, very annoying. It took away from the enjoyment of the story, which was lack-luster anyway
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Not really
Any additional comments?
No

Historia
The Knights of the Golden Circle was the largest and most dangerous clandestine organization in American history. It amassed billions in stolen gold and silver, all buried in hidden caches across the United States. Since 1865 treasure hunters have searched, but little of that immense wealth has ever been found. Now, 160 years later, two factions of what remains of the Knights of the Golden Circle want that lost treasure - one to spend it for their own ends, the other to preserve it.

The Lost Order is confusing
Revisado: 04-09-17
Not well organized. Too much about several stories. Should have been separated into two or e Ben three books. The major themes of Congress and the knights should have been at least two books. I still don't understand all of it and i've listened to it twice. Love Scott Brick however

Beware
Revisado: 12-11-15
Very disturbing ending. Very graphic. Too much information. Listen at own risk. It bothered me and I am not usually squeamish.

Thomas Berryman Number
Revisado: 08-12-07
James Patterson really laid a stinky egg with this one. It jumps back and forth too much an the plot is really stupid. Not worth a read, especially or those of us who James Patterson fans. Get with it James, don't just publish to publish. Put some thought into it.

Good new character
Revisado: 03-03-07
The beginning was very interesting and intriguing, but the ending seemed like Patterson rushed to finish it and left out alot of possibilities for a great ending. I like the new character(s)and look forward to more stories, with a bit more substance.
