An awesome compelling story

I don’t think I’ve ever powered through an audiobook so attentively in so few sittings. His story was like a really good movie with elements of action, drama, and even romance. I was not expecting relationship advice from an autobiography about a Navy SEAL but it came at a time I needed it.

This was an awesome story about an ordinary man living an extraordinary life. Aside from the awesome shenanigans there are some moral tales we can all relate to about hard work, perseverance, and creative problem solving.

What an awesome story

This is the first fictional book I've read or listened to in awhile and the story was epic. A coworker told me about it and now that a movie is soon being released I wanted to get ahead of the curve. The only downside is now I will understand how people felt that have read books before the movies were released.

Not just a kid's book.

While I would recommend it for kids this 39 year old kid got a lot out of it as well. Inspiring and a tale a lot of us lived as kids.
The only downside of this book was the short length but totally worthwhile.

Something I wish more of my "leaders" would read

I mean what I said in the title of my review in the most respectful sense. I'm no manager or executive; however, I had adopted some of these principles early in my life and had I adopted these principles earlier it would've made a lot of things on my life less complicated.
While the book's primary focus is on the leaders or management folks reading this there are a lot of things about extreme ownership that people can benefit from at all levels.
Aside from this I love it when the authors read their own audio books. There's a conviction that only an author can bring. Bonus points for "Texas Batman".
