Not loving the changes
Revisado: 02-12-19
I agree with most of the other reviews, I just started this one and the first character's (man) voice is screechy and loud, sound quality is not as smooth as the others. I agree Kinsey sounds old but this lady. Not sure I can stick with this one ll they wy through.

Historia
Stone Barrington isn’t one to turn away in the face of danger, so when he witnesses a tricky situation underway, he jumps in to lend a hand. He never expected, though, that this favor would lead to a mutually beneficial business deal with a prominent gentleman who requires the ever-discreet services of Woodman & Weld. But in the ruthless corporate world no good deed goes unpunished, and Stone soon finds himself the target of a ragtag group of criminal toughs who don’t appreciate his interference in their dealings.

Not a favorite

What could have made this a 4 or 5-star listening experience for you?
Tony needs to pronounce words and names correctly. The story line is boring. Every woman he meets he sleeps with immediately, this one being a sex addict is not appealing. Seems like by now he would have some diseases. There is no romance just fast and often sex. I also don't know why everyone stone meets comes from Delano, GA. It is so predictable. There are a lot more cities and states.
What could Stuart Woods have done to make this a more enjoyable book for you?
See above.
How could the performance have been better?
Tony's voices are sounding alike in this one. He really needs to work on pronouncing words correctly, aeroplane and hilicopter? Really? Every book?
You didn’t love this book... but did it have any redeeming qualities?
Not so much.

Knitting and life. They're both about beginnings - and endings. That's why it makes sense for Lydia Goetz, owner of A Good Yarn on Seattle's Blossom Street, to offer a class called Knit to Quit. It's for people who want to quit something - or someone! - and start a new phase of their lives.

Don't like the narrator.

Would you recommend this audiobook to a friend? If so, why?
I think the story is about the same as the others but the narrator has such a screechy voice, mispronounces words and has been reading one line in the book twice. I have not encountered this with the other Macomber books and I've listened to a lot. It is hard to listen bc of the narrator.
