Very thoughtful and thorough

I really enjoyed this book because I loved the story of Harry Truman. McCullough is a great writer but sometimes gets bogged down in such detail that it loses his readers on the significance of those details. Sometimes, the details are important. I found myself feeling like it was bias leaning too favorable of Democrats and yet very revealing of the weaknesses of Democrats as well as other politics. I feel it was fair and balanced of Truman not making him a greater man than he was but being realistic about him being a mere man.

Now I know the story behind the songs

They’re known for I Can Only Imagine and that story is powerful for sure but I noticed in 2014 from the “Welcome to the New” that the songs were saturated with God’s Grace which is God had been doing a grace revolution in me start around then and since. Now I know, having spent a year in counseling how Bart’s Christ-centered counseling impacted him and the songs he has written. Much more depth!

This is a daily devotional. Whoever produced and sold this, didn’t complete the recording! It ended on December 26! I told Audible about and they’re giving me a runaround. Stop offering this audio book until it can be completed!
