Historia
It should have been the night that launched a new pop idol. Tamar Valparaiso is young and beautiful, with the body and voice of an angel. The stage is set for her to launch her debut album, Bandersnatch, on a luxury yacht in the heart of the city. But halfway through her performance, masked men drag Tamar off the stage and into a waiting speedboat, while the partygoers look on helplessly.

It broke my heart!
Revisado: 03-05-25
I thought the rape scene was pretty brutal. I really liked Tamara and to see that M.F. hurt her so bad, I wanted to slip onto the book and kill him. Ed, Mr. McBain gets kind of "kill happy". some times.
like when he tried to kill Corrella in 3rd 87th book but I love his books and wish I could have meant him. yeah I know, too much information. on to next book.
PS I love Fat Ollie too. Hope he and Patrica can stay togeather. 🙃

Historia
There’s a bad new cat in sleepy little Molena Point: a renegade tom with a penchant for robbery, a scorn for his fellow felines, and a disdain for human laws. And he’s masterminding a crime spree that’s quickly escalating toward murder most foul. Dulcie and Joe Grey both know the score - they’ve seen Azrael in action. But how can they expose the criminal without letting ordinary, untrustworthy humans in on the secret that certain select cats can think - and talk? Cats like them…

Historia
With its brilliant and brutal portrayal of the Corleone family, The Godfather burned its way into our national consciousness. This unforgettable saga of crime and corruption, passion and loyalty continues to stand the test of time, as the definitive novel of the Mafia underworld. A #1 New York Times bestseller in 1969, Mario Puzo's epic was turned into the incomparable film of the same name, directed by Francis Ford Coppola, which won the Academy Award for Best Picture. It is the original classic that has been often imitated, but never matched.

Historia
Nurse Mercy Lynch is elbows deep in bloody laundry at a war hospital in Richmond, Virginia, when Clara Barton comes bearing bad news: Mercy's husband has died in a POW camp. On top of that, a telegram from the west coast declares that her estranged father is gravely injured, and he wishes to see her. Mercy sets out toward the Mississippi River. Once there, she'll catch a train over the Rockies and—if the telegram can be believed—be greeted in Washington Territory by the sheriff, who will take her to see her father in Seattle.

This book has special meaning to me.
Revisado: 12-10-22
I do not know where Craig Johnson got his inspiration for this book but I have had similar things happen in my life as Longmire had on the mountain. I am 80 years old and not crazy. I think!😏 but things happen in a long life that can not be easily explained. This story meant more to me than just entertainment. Maybe Craig Johnson would agree?
