I played all those cool video games. I watched all those movies. I even read the books. In most of 'em, the hero shoots the bad guys, drives a sweet car, never gets hungry, and always seems to get laid by the end. Yeah. Whatever. I gotta be straight with you about why I wrote this journal, and it comes down to one thing, the apocalypse kinda sucks. It doesn’t meet my expectations at all.

I’m a prepper / homesteading Vet & have been looking for a poor man’s view of the apocalypse and in Dusty I’ve found it . I couldn’t put the book down( audio ). I laughed as much as I pondered the many points of survival brought to light . I can’t stress enough what a great book this is .

Ms. Stone writes a captivating Work that brings you into Dakota’s and Eden’s life at the time SHTF. I was a Navy Corpsman ( NBC Warfare trained ) and now a Surgical assistant and a homesteader / amateur prepper. Ms. Stone’s knowledge of nuclear radiation is impressive as is her field aid . If you are looking for a story that entertains and educates . This would be a good choice .
