Historia
Forensic genealogist Morton Farrier agrees to take on a case to identify the biological mother of three foundlings, abandoned in shop doorways as newborn babies in the 1970s. He has just one thing with which to begin his investigation: the three women’s DNA, one of whom is his half-aunt. With just six days of research time available to him, his investigation uncovers some shocking revelations and troubling links to his own grandfather, and Morton finds that for the first time in his career, he is advising his clients not to read his concluding report.

Best book yet in this series!
Revisado: 09-20-23
This is the best of the Morton Farrier works. There is more interesring genealogy work than wver and the story line takes many great twists and turns. The way the author switches back-and-forth in time is perfect in developing the story. The reader does an excellent job of bringing this book to life.

From the legendary actor and best-selling author: a novel about the making of a star-studded, multimillion-dollar superhero action film...and the humble comic books that inspired it. Funny, touching, and wonderfully thought-provoking, while also capturing the changes in America and American culture since World War II.

Great story made so much better by the performance of the narrator, Tom Hanks!
Revisado: 06-03-23
If you have ever starred in a movie, helped make a movie or watched a movie, you will love this book. The book not only gives you an idea of how movies are made but the characters and the story are amazing. Tom Hanks adds so much as the narrator to the story. His wonderful cadence lets you know exactly what he was thinking when he wrote the words. Bravo!

Best Harry Bosch book yet!
Revisado: 11-15-22
If you are a fan of Harry Bosch, you're going to love this book. If you've never read any Harry Bosch books, this is a great standalone. Great narration from 3 different readers. All the voices are a perfect match for the characters.

Best in the series so far
Revisado: 08-05-21
After trying out a different reader on each of the prior books they finally found one that does a credible job for this characters and author. The story was as good as the first book. The books after the first book were not as good. This one had more twists and turns then you will expect.

Tries to be itreverant, but just boring
Revisado: 06-29-21
This book tries to be funny and witty but only comes across as written in one night as the author was drinking too much wine. It could've been so much more and funny but it really takes the shortcut and just never really hits the mark.

Way too slow at the beginning
Revisado: 06-08-19
This books takes off slow and drags for almost the whole book, until the last couple of hours. It doesn’thelp that the narrator has an annoying voice. Listen to a sample before buying this book to make sure tou can tolerate the narrator. Thise last 2 hours were not worth the listening to the first part. I normally always give books a 5 or 4 star rating, but this ione s the exception.

Professor Theo Cray is trained to see patterns where others see chaos. So when mutilated bodies found deep in the Montana woods leave the cops searching blindly for clues, Theo sees something they missed. Something unnatural. Something only he can stop. As a computational biologist, Theo is more familiar with digital code and microbes than the dark arts of forensic sleuthing.

Would have been better with a better narrator.
Revisado: 06-22-18
This book would have been much better with a narrator who’s voice better matched the lead character. Instead, it was a big distraction and it took away from the book. If you get this book stick with it. The first third of it is really slow and you want to quit but the last 2/3 will even overcome the narrator. It is worth the finish.

In a career spanning more than 30 years, David Letterman redefined the modern talk show with an ironic comic style that transcended traditional television. While he remains one of the most famous stars in America, he is a remote, even reclusive figure whose career is widely misunderstood. In Letterman, Jason Zinoman, the first comedy critic in the history of the New York Times, mixes groundbreaking reporting with unprecedented access and probing critical analysis to explain the unique entertainer's titanic legacy.

Author mainly shares the gloomy side of Dave’s life.
Revisado: 11-29-17
Very gloomy and depressing. The author makes it sound like David Letterman hated every minute of his life and his show and never had any fun. I think it could have been a little more balanced.

Revisado: 01-13-17
This is an interesting book for superman fans as it tells the story of his life from Smallville to Metropolis. It also sets up sequel to this story. I'm not sure Scott brick one is the proper narrator for this book but he does his usual good job.
