Bronson Pinchot has a very unusual and mistaken idea of how people in North Carolina speak apparently. it was an unfortunate distraction that very likely took away from the story itself and made it rather less than could have been.

Distractingly horrific narration

How could the performance have been better?
The narration was, bluntly, the worst that I've ever heard. Disjointed and jerky, Ms. Novotny's narration was a huge distraction.
