Historia
Everyone wants to be a writer, and they want to know what they can do to make that dream come true. However, most aspiring writers do not understand how to position themselves so they are ready when presented with an opportunity. They identify themselves as writers but have no writing samples, or their websites and social media talk all about their paintings or music but say nothing of who they are as writers.

I like it
Revisado: 07-18-15
Where does Creative Writing Career rank among all the audiobooks you’ve listened to so far?
1. I love nonfictions and books about video games in general.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Since this is a nonfiction book, I like Sloan's interview with Assassin Creed 2's writer.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
Not sure. Didn't remember so well.
What’s an idea from the book that you will remember?
I haven't read so many articles about creative writing on movies and video games, so I guess that's a thing I really like.

A great coming of age novel.
Revisado: 06-22-15
Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Sure. I thought that the ending was very meaningful, and we watched a young girl matures into an adult. Personally, I thought that was very satsifying.
How would you have changed the story to make it more enjoyable?
I thought that after Brooke turned into a bird, her adventure was a little boring. But there shouldn't be any changes, since the slow pace is perfect for the overall meaning.
How did the narrator detract from the book?
I can't distinguish the characters, they all sound the same. And I nearly fell asleep, so....
If this book were a movie would you go see it?
No. It was an interesting book, however not interesting enough to make me stand up and go to the cinema. I am simply too lazy.

What disappointed you about Teddy Bears in Monsterland: An Urban Fantasy Novel?
- Improper kiai.
- Gilliland helped me resist my urge to yawn successfully. The characters, especially Rick, don't really leave any strong impression.
What was most disappointing about Justin Sloan’s story?
Most disapointing? Personally, I thought the characters were boring.
What about Michael Gilliland’s performance did you like?
I love Gilliland's voice. I can distinguish different characters, and that's great. It made the story less boring.
What reaction did this book spark in you? Anger, sadness, disappointment?
Nothing. Just a blank stare.

A decent book.

Would you recommend this book to a friend? Why or why not?
Yes I would. Many friends of mine are fans of the sci - fi genre.
Who was your favorite character and why?
Actually none. They were a bit quite dull for me, and no one seems special enough for me to notice.
Who would you have cast as narrator instead of Brenda Villanueva?
Villanueva's voice was a bit boring (sorry about that, but I nearly fell asleep). I don't know who to cast, as I have just started to listen to audiobooks recently.
Was The Mother Serpent's Daughter worth the listening time?
Yes, it was.
Any additional comments?
None. Although I would consider reading Zero Time for my enjoyment. The summary seems interesting enough.
