Repetitive disappointment not nearly as good as first cycle

Kept telling the same things over and over the original series was a good fast paced adventure this series so far is repetitive drawn out sometimes to a painfully frustrating level if you like fast paced exciting fantasy this series definitely has not started in that fashion

The writers need to continually repeating himself was annoying and felt like padding to simply get 3 books . He took an extremely long time to get into the "meat" of the story then continued its repetitive going over again and again of sane already told tale . I suffered through to the end but aver all disappointing, the reading also left much to be desired.

Another great book from a modern master of fantasy

Brandon Sanderson is a prolific and amazing science fantasy writer he constantly churns out outstanding works of literature and while Calamity is not his greatest work it is certainly a good listen. Any science fantasy fan should become familiar with his work as they will be rewarded with some of the best yarns they have ever heard or read

Great read/listen Sanderson is a master story teller , interesting characters good story line great performance by reader.Love Sanderson's books really creates wonderful mystic and magical worlds that take you completely into his fantastic worlds Simply brilliant author who deserves recognition as one of the great science fantasy writers of all time.

Great storytelling ever Brandon Sanderson outshines all other writers in this series a masterpiece MORE PLEASE.

What other book might you compare The Way of Kings to and why?

Thomas Convenant the unbelevier first novel brillant science fantasy but Sanderson. In this series so I far outshines even that.

All of them are perfect

Would you consider the audio edition of Best Served Cold to be better than the print version?

What was the most interesting aspect of this story? The least interesting?

the female lead and lack of scope and exquisite story telling of the first law series by Joe which was epic and fascinating have listened to that series twice and still enjoy it which is not that common for me since the early works of Stephen Donaldson and Michael Morcock

almost although not as good as the first law series
