Historia
After his bestselling home run books Why We Love Baseball and The Baseball 100, Joe Posnanski turns from the national pastime to the number one sport in America. Why We Love Football is Posnanski’s newest must-have deep dive into the archives and legends of the sport, and the result is a rousing tale of the 100 greatest moments in football lore. This is the best kind of sports writing. Entertaining, enlightening, heartbreaking, hilarious, and always fascinating, these stories of the sport offer a panoramic look across its history.

I was a football coach and so is my son. The stories are told so well and bring back such wonderful memories.

Great listen

This book was very enjoyable to listen to. Mr. Posnanski’s narration really brought his words to life. Great book and will buy more of his work.

Historia
North Korea has one of the world's largest standing armies, capable of unleashing a massive arsenal of chemical and nuclear weapons. With an unstable government, led by the Kim dynasty under absolute dictator Kim Jong Un, North Korea more closely resembles an organized crime ring than a real nation-state. Millions live on the edge of starvation while Pyongyang's ruthless generals, crooked bureaucrats, and vicious secret police wage a covert war against each other to expand their rival fiefdoms.

Not very good
Revisado: 11-12-21
Not very well written and the dialog was especially poorly done. I was able to finish it but it was a struggle.

Historia
Amos Decker's life changed forever - twice. The first time was on the gridiron. A big, towering athlete, he was the only person from his hometown of Burlington ever to go pro. But his career ended before it had a chance to begin. On his very first play, a violent helmet-to-helmet collision knocked him off the field for good and left him with an improbable side effect - he can never forget anything.

Bad narration with horrible editing
Revisado: 08-09-19
I have read or listened to most of Baldacci’s books and this was the first one I disliked. The audio recording and editing was the worst by far I’ve listened to. The people involved in the audio version of this book need to find other work and the publisher should be embarrassed.
The book itself was not up to Mr. Baldacci’s other works. However, I think the poor narration and editing affected the story for me.
