My husband and I love this series.
Revisado: 07-24-24
I really love the family and the fun magical beings. My only problem is the voice used for Dartamont. It's so sappy and kind of eeyore. I get taken out of the story every time I hear it

When Maxwell sends Team Trouble to investigate a series of unfortunate events, we discover that everything in Texas is bigger-including the mayhem. What’s in a name? A lot. The name Tinaca, for example, has been passed down in the Jones family for generations of women. In fact, the Joneses name a Tinaca every other generation, to let the name breathe a little. To let each Tinaca shine. And shine is exactly what Tinaca Jones intends to do.

Historia
Alden McCausland and his mother are what they call “accident rich”; thanks to an unexpected life-insurance policy payout and a winning Big Maine Millions scratcher, Alden and his Ma are able to spend their summers down by Lake Abenaki, idly drinking their days away in a three-room cabin with an old dock and a lick of a beach. Across the lake, they can see what “real rich” looks like: the Massimo family’s Twelve Pines Camp, the big white mansion with guest house and tennis court that Alden’s Ma says is paid for by “ill-gotten gains” courtesy of Massimo Construction.

A stunning modern-day fairy tale from acclaimed author Anne Ursu.... Once upon a time, Hazel and Jack were best friends. But that was before he stopped talking to her and disappeared into a forest with a mysterious woman made of ice. Now it's up to Hazel to go in after him.
