Historia
E-rank hunter Jinwoo Sung has no money, no talent, and no prospects to speak of - and apparently, no luck, either! When he enters a hidden double dungeon one fateful day, he’s abandoned by his party and left to die at the hands of some of the most horrific monsters he’s ever encountered.

Let me first say I really like the monster hunter series. but the narrator is clear and concise but the I don't know if it is the language barrier but is is really non energetic. But what really gets me is the majority of the book the hunters are idiots and argue like children. The smartest guy is the warehouse worker.

Getting old
Revisado: 12-19-23
In the beginning of the series I loved the chaos, but now it's really nothing more than a mix of tangents, with no real flow to the story. Most of the time the character thinks about leveling up and then does. It's getting old.

Historia
Karen Memery, like memory only spelt with an e, lives in Rapid City in the late 19th century - when airships plied the trade routes bringing would-be miners heading up to the gold fields of Alaska, and steam-powered mechanicals stalked the waterfront. Karen is a "soiled dove", a young woman on her own who is making the best of her orphaned state by working in Madame Damnable's high-quality bordello.

conflicting everything
Revisado: 10-16-23
So first it's really made me struggle with the book is that your trying to narrate a southern voiced character with an enuncated northern character, There is nothing more that removes you from the heart of the story. The voice narrator feels like they are reading from the book. The book is ok from what I got into it, but the disconjunction between a uneducated vocabulary, to a descriptiive overview and the scenery doesnt' feel like it's from the same character.

No understanding of character design
Revisado: 12-06-22
So I don't often write reviews. I either like it or I don't but every so often I run into something that bad that I need to say something. So I love the narrator who does an awesome job. So the first thing is this guy doesn't know how to write a character. This Rictor is multiple characters, a college student who doesn't know anything about science, medicine or chemistry, a 12 year old LEET speaker who is annoying, and some guy who makes up his own sayings. Overall they are all @$$#0!3$. First they don't actually do anything throughout the first book and let all his people do stuff for him. Next the internal monologue jumps between a benevolent college student who has a family of priests to a self-centered greedy jerk. I don't know how many times I eye rolled at the comments that the character makes. If you like quirky save your money for He Who Fights Monsters, If you like world building the Sevendor series is much better. And most characters level up one level at a time, this story levels up 3-5 levels at a time because well he doesn't want to develop the character.

Historia
It’s not easy making the career jump from office-supplies-store middle manager to heroic interdimensional adventurer. At least, Jason tries to be heroic, but it's hard to be good when all your powers are evil. He’ll face off against cannibals, cultists, wizards, monsters...and that’s just on the first day. He’s going to need courage, he’s going to need wit, and he’s going to need some magic powers of his own. But first, he’s going to need pants.

Redo my original review
Revisado: 01-16-22
It was a struggle in the beginning because of how bad the inner monolog was. constantly odd thoughts and bad jokes. It also took some time for the character to interact with others,. and the it was he said dialog, he said dialog. but after the book goes on for a bit it became better. will I buy the next book? probably.

Historia
Dominic Thompson becomes an Infernal dungeon core and is given one task: honor the dark goddess by killing adventurers. Choosing an avatar is merely the first step. To become the greatest, he must make the other dungeon cores submit to him. And that means shattering their jeweled hearts. Or seducing their avatars. Lucky for Dom, the dungeon’s avatars are beautiful monster girls. But they’re also the fiercest warriors in the realms, and there’s a fine line between murder and seduction.

A bad joke: nonchalant
Revisado: 06-20-21
Made it six chapters in before I couldn't deal with the personality changes and the oh well attitude . Gets a gaming console, doesn't mention till chapter 3 that he couldn't figure out how to turn it on but is nonchalant when it comes to life. Goes from marketing guru who nonchalantly gets fired and doesn't care until two chapters later when he is going to make them pay and bring them to the ground. Nonchalantly gets sucked into the video game hell, but is ok when he finds out it's really happening. Nonchalantly turns into a homicidal maniac by chapter 6. If you like LitRPG go read anything by Dakota Krout or Noobtown or Everybody loves Large Chests for a much better story/plot

Historia
The DFZ, the metropolis formerly known as Detroit, is the world’s most magical city with a population of nine million and zero public safety laws. That’s a lot of mages, cybernetically enhanced chrome heads, and mythical beasties who die, get into debt, and otherwise fail to pay their rent. When they can’t pay their bills, their stuff gets sold to the highest bidder. That’s when they call me. I’m a Cleaner: a freelance mage employed by the DFZ to sort through the mountains of magical junk people leave behind. It’s not a pretty job, or a safe one....
