He is by far in my top 3 favorite authors. The narration is slow, controlled, humorous and I love that he uses his experience to enlighten the reader on life lessons.

Wow, the end was a total shock!

I thought I knew the climax minutes into it, but as usual the author never ceases to amaze me. I look forward to my next read by her.

Informational and Sad but great book

One of my favorite authors as of last year. I always look forward to books from this author. I found myself wanting to interview her to understand what inspires the next project.

I feel as if I know DI Jackman and his awesome crew. I look forward to listening to the next case and all its complexities in solving them.

I had a difficult time following this book because it dragged along and the narration sound like a computer generator at times. As the plot emerged around the last 2 hours so did my interest.

Awesome with so many twists

You must pay attention to this great read. There are so many twists and turns in the life if detectives and crooks.

I could not wait to pickup from where I left off

I will be honest in saying that I almost did not finish this book because I found my interest fading. What gripped me is the truthfulness of what goes on behind prison walls and the constant danger that staff and inmates alike face. This was educational and very informative.

It was almost disbelieving how much the staff encounter so frequently, but believable at the same time since I watch prison documentaries.

I would find it difficult to be on constant alert of this magnitude. Also, it was comical and I laughed out loud throughout the book. Just listening to the juvenile behavior and banter between the inmates kept me engaged.

Lastly, the narrator always keeps my attention. I have listened to her narrate other masterpieces and she did not dissapoint this time around either.

A great and real story with so many twists

I loved the narration and the way the story unfolded. Not knowing what was next was what I love most. You think you figured it out and nope.

This was my first audio book where the scenes were acted out as I was actually watching a live movie or show, such as the clicking if the shoes or different people holding conversations in one scene.

I did not like the overuse of profanity. It was over kill, but there was a disclaimer prior to reading.

I look forward to other works, with caution of profanity.

I was shocked to learn who the snow killer was.

I never would have guessed the identity of the snow killer just based on the narrator's ability to conceal the obvious.
