Key to success in life

Josh has really figured out how to be excellent at anything that he sets his mind to. This is an excellent skill for those that wish to excel. I loved hearing his testimonial, however I wish that he would have referenced throughout how others can apply the same principles to other careers and skills. I'm not asking for a laundry list, but a more definitive course of action and emphasizing some key philosophies would have been been nice.

Great insight, but story was a little disjointed

The book was a great insight into a brilliant mind, creative engineer, and a determined entrepreneur. Elon Musk has accomplished what I have dreamed of! I am inspired! The only criticism I have of the book is that the story line is a little disjointed.

I appreciate Tim's willingness to share his own personal tips, techniques and sometimes questionable methods. He gives real steps and resources for one to use to automate processes, work remotely, reduce work stress, and free up valuable time. I don't think these concepts will work for everyone, but they are great for the entrepreneurs and those who's professions are conducive to working remotely. I also like his tips for traveling efficiently and cheaply. The "new rich" concept is a great one! He's a little arrogant, but I'm a retired Naval Aviator and an aspiring entrepreneur, so I can appreciate the need for confidence in a demanding environment.

I like how the author tied together past innovators with today's innovators, and demonstrated what they have in common and what today's innovators learned from their predecessors. I was especially interested in the melding of creative art and creative technology thinking. It was also interesting to see how innovators from the same time period took different approaches, which ultimately worked together to make a better outcome for all. It's obvious that collaboration and taking positive steps to turn ideas into businesses are keys to true innovation.
