Historia
COVID-19 has stolen our security and our nation's peace of mind. There is a pandemic virus as well as a crippling epidemic of fear sweeping America. Why? The answer, according to nationally renowned health commentator Dr. Marc Siegel, is that we already lived in an artificially created culture of fear that was just waiting to be unleashed. In COVID: The Politics of Fear and the Power of Science, Siegel identifies three major catalysts of the culture of fear - government, the media, and our own psyche.

Historia
Somewhere out beyond the edge of the universe there is a library that contains an infinite number of books, each one the story of another reality. One tells the story of your life as it is, along with another book for the other life you could have lived if you had made a different choice at any point in your life. While we all wonder how our lives might have been, what if you had the chance to go to the library and see for yourself? Would any of these other lives truly be better? In The Midnight Library, Nora Seed finds herself faced with this decision.

Historia
From Howard Zinn’s A People’s History of the United States to the New York Times' 1619 project, the modern Left views American history through the lens of competing oppressions, replacing the traditional understanding that all Americans are part of a shared journey toward the perfection of universal ideals. Their attacks on the values that built our nation, from the rights to free speech and self-defense to the importance of marriage and faith communities, are insidious because they replace each of them with nothing beyond an increased reliance on the government.

Historia
For thousands of years, the faithful have honed proselytizing strategies and talked people into believing the truth of one holy book or another. Indeed, the faithful often view converting others as an obligation of their faith - and are trained from an early age to spread their unique brand of religion. The result is a world broken in large part by unquestioned faith. As an urgently needed counter to this tried-and-true tradition of religious evangelism, this audiobook offers the first-ever guide not for talking people into faith - but for talking them out of it.

Educational, Inspiring, and Bold
Revisado: 02-29-20
bought this book at Powells in 2017 after finding and falling in love with Anthony Magnabosco's videos, I have read It at least twice and highlighted and scribbled notes all through it. After buying and reading Boghossian's latest book How to Have Impossible Conversations countless times I had to buy both audiobooks I love this book. Wish I could rate this book 4.70 for the handful of times he used animal exploitation to make his point. I would be interested to see how he justifies disregarding animals from the moral community. I was pleased to find no examples of this in HTHIP. Over all this book was wonderful again and again so 5 Stars!

Life changing!

powered through this wonderful book and took a ton of notes. I loved it so much, I'm going to be buying the paper book as well. I am a long time street epistemology fan, and felt like this book was much more effective at changing minds, and more respectful than A Manual for Creating Atheist. I did like that book too minus some of his basic "bacon tho" arguments
