One of best audio books I have listened to.

This is one of those books you just can't walk away from. So many of his "thoughts" could have been pulled from my mind.

Much of this is common sense and rehashing normal techniques. There were a few examples that can be added to best practices. Overall, marginal at best.

Historia
Tom Zoellner, a longtime friend of Giffords’ and a field organizer on her congressional campaign, uses the tragedy as a jumping off point to expose the fault lines in Arizona’s political and socioeconomic landscape that allowed this to happen: the harmful political rhetoric, the inept state government, the lingering effects of the housing market’s boom and bust, the proliferation and accessibility of guns, the lack of established communities, and the hysteria surrounding issues of race and immigration.

Expected the interpretation of tha author to aggrevate me. Although it was clearly biased, it was well done.

Historia
From the former secretary of defense, a strikingly candid, vivid account of serving Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama during the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan. When Robert M. Gates received a call from the White House, he thought he'd long left Washington politics behind: After working for six presidents in both the CIA and the National Security Council, he was happily serving as president of Texas A&M University. But when he was asked to help a nation mired in two wars and to aid the troops doing the fighting, he answered what he felt was the call of duty.

Well written
Revisado: 03-13-14
This book was about 1 hour longer than it needed to be. A good story but too lengthy to keep interest at times.
