Historia
Once upon a time, Caven Hunt saved my life. We were only kids, but the trauma of that day destroyed us both. Years later, he didn't recognize me when a one-night stand unexpectedly reconnected us. And nine months later, when I left our newborn daughter on his doorstep, I didn't recognize myself either. The darkness doesn't always win, though. It took four agonizing years for me to find myself again—years during which our daughter grew up without a mother.

Loved this book. It had depth, mystery, and romance. Exactly what I was looking for!

Historia
Carter Beckett is the NHL’s resident bad boy, top player both on the ice and in the bedroom, and quite possibly the sexiest man to ever grace my field of vision. But worst of all? He knows it. He’s arrogant, self-centered, and the man doesn’t seem to know what a filter is, let alone how to use one. He’s had everything served to him on a silver platter, including endless strings of women, and apparently, I’m up next. I have the solution to all my sexual frustrations in a drawer at home, and it’s far less complicated than Carter Beckett.

Very Long and Drawn Out
Revisado: 02-18-25
This book was very long and drawn out with a ton of unnecessary “fluff.” It was painful at times to get through, but I was determined to finish it and not waste my money. It took about 50 chapters for anything to actually happen, which made the ending feel rushed.
