Worst in the Series So Far
Revisado: 05-15-24
Very boring and predictable story line. Slow moving. Reminded me of a slow board game of clue.

Historia
After working for Charlotte and Thomas Pitt for years, Gracie thought her maid-work was behind her. But when her good friend turns up at her doorstep just before the holidays, frantic because she's lost her job and has no references for a new one since she was unceremoniously fired, Gracie knows she has to find out what happened. Her friend, it seems, was concerned about what was going on in the house, and the husband and wife who lived there got rid of her to stop her talking.

Narrator great. Story plot not so great. Pretty predictable and not realistic. Still enjoyable though. I always look forward to her Christmas novellas!

Beautiful Rich Story
Revisado: 03-15-20
Loved the story. Really a hard time though with the narrators voice. It really was a challenge to continue with the story when the narrators voice was so distracting. It sounded so babyish and childlike even as the characters increased in age. But the story it’s self was beautiful.
